A generally quiet, pragmatic Duskwight whose calm demeanor masks a wicked, bitter temper. Observant and intuitive, to the point of paranoia, Baeyl is not one who is quick to trust herself to others. She will keep many things about herself close, and often puts on a more aloof, professional front. While her attitude may seem stern and formal, she does have a much softer, doting side, and those few who manage to grow close with her find themselves in the presence of someone who would give everything for them.

Painfully anxious, yet with an enormous heart, Hikari always seems to either be running from something or running towards it. Through her love of the natural world, it's obvious that her kindness extends not only to Spoken, but to all living creatures who call this star home. Easily influenced, yet paradoxically stubborn in her own right, Hikari is a person driven by her compassion for others. She wants nothing more in the world than to understand others, and to be understood by them, in turn. In her efforts to be someone who is capable of protecting others, she is often set at odds with her meek nature, as she struggles in finding her own voice and giving it strength.As the world makes rapid changes, Hikari finds herself having to recontexualize her sense of identity within it. Once a fantastically skilled archer, an act of hubris and underhandedness saw the haughty young Qorchi laid low and robbed of sight in her dominant eye. With the loss of her sight came the loss of the skill Qorchi felt she was born to do. Left with little other recourse, especially once she eventually lost her tribe, she found that she either had to develop a new skill to make her way in the world, or die. in her pursuit of not-dying, Qorchi has found herself in Eorzea, nurturing an unexpected gift towards magic. But even this new gift bears a burden, and again, Qorchi must adapt if she wants to survive…
